Thanks for visiting! So this site probably warrants some explanation. If you've found me from my YouTube or other places online, welcome! If you've found me through Neocities, welcome also, but you may need some context.
I'm a TV archivist. This means I have a wide ranging archive of television broadcasts with commercials, screenbugs, and other broadcast ephemera intact. I could wax poetic about the importance of archival to our politics and culture, but I'd be lying about the reason I was attracted to this hobby.
Long story short, when I was young, I was fascinated by the onscreen graphics that television networks would add to their programming, and would get excited for a new show because that meant there were new "Coming Up Next" graphics.
As I grew older, I grew nostalgic for that era and sought out TV recordings, but had trouble finding them. So over the past few years I've amassed a collection of television broadcasts that I've sourced from my own recordings, my own VHS and DVR collections, and various filesharing sites, logging an excel spreadsheet with the metadata.
This site, if you browse the "all recordings" section, is a representation of each individual program I have in my collection. Every entry is either fully intact, meaning no commercial breaks cut out, or damn close.
(To the best of my knowledge, of course, with thousands of entries its possible some have slipped through without me noticing.)
Another thing that I must stress is that there are NO FILES HOSTED ON THIS WEBSITE and NO LINKS TO THE RECORDINGS. It's possible in the future I may add some VERY limited recordings, but that will be restricted to what is allowed under copyright law, i.e. public domain stuff.
This is merely a REPRESENTATION of the files that I host on physical drives that are not meant to be shared.
